After a crazy year we could all use a bit of glam and sparkle to brighten up our winter. We’ve all been left feeling a bit unsure coming out of 2021 but we’ve got you covered with all the best upcoming trends for this season and how you can incorporate your fave DMZ pieces. From monochrome to miniskirts there’s something for everyone.

Monochrome
After a dull year 2022 is all about colour. This new Monochromatic trend is a great way to incorporate colour into your wardrobe for the new year. This trend has been spotted in the recent collections of Jacqumus, Bottega Veneta and Versace. Go bold and add a matching bag and shoes to be bang on trend or mix in various hues for a chilled take on this look. For a DMZ approach to monochromatic dressing try our Turn up the heat satin two piece. This fit is available in five colours so you’ll find covered no matter your style.

Brown
The colour brown has been a staple trend over the past year and its not going anywhere coming into 2022. The tonal colour palette can adapt to fit any occasion. For a casual look try our 70's Disco Ripple Print Halter Neck Dress and style with a jacket and boots. For a dressier occasion try our Leila Wrap Around Mini Dress and style with matching heels and gold jewellery.
Simple shirts
This wardrobe staple isn’t going anywhere, the boyfriend shirt is a classic that can be dressed up or down to suit any occasion. The silhouette was seen in the recent collections of Balenciaga and Dior. For a party look pair with your glitziest heels and matching bag. For a more casual look its all about layering, pair your shirt with a jumper, tights and boots for the colder months. A DMZ classic ‘To Plunge Forward Shirt Dress’ is your perfect piece for this timeless trend.
Green
A staple colour of 2021, weather you like it or not green is here to stay. The hue has been spotted in the recent collections of Bottega Veneta and Ganni.  add a pop of colour into your wardrobe with this trend. Our Beauty Queen Cowl Neck Mini Dress is a classic silhouette that would be a timeless addition to any wardrobe. For a more formal look shop our stunning Zara dress in a beautiful emerald green.

Sequin

This new trend is perfect to add a bit of glam and glitter for the cold season. Our favourite DMZ sequin picks are our Mermaid Dream dress in white, you’ll be a stand out at any event with this gorgeous piece.

Mini skirts
Carrying on from the Y2K trend that we all loved micro miniskirts are back and shorter than ever. There is no shortage of miniskirts on the DMZ site but I’ve selected some top pics for you to try this trend. The Sharpay Diamante Strap Backless Dress is a perfect piece to show off this trend, with the ruching detail you can adjust your mini to any length. Y2k
A firm favourite from previous seasons the y2k is here to stay. Expect to see lots more cut outs and shorter hem lines. For a sassy take on this vintage trend try our Taylor two-piece set. The bubble-gum pink really helps you channel your inner Paris Hilton. Style with trainers and a baguette bag for a comfortable going out fit or dress up with matching heels and a fluffy bag for an extra bit of noughties style.
Sheer
A trend that has been popping up a lot throughout A/W seasons is sheer materials. Spotted in the recent collections of Tom Ford and Burberry this trend gives you that sexy look without having to show too much skin. For a DMZ take on this try our Sheer Attack dress for a classic look that can be paired with glam heels or chunky boots for a relaxed take.
